Your marriage is relatively happy and you have daughter, Alice, who has just reached adulthood. Due to Alice inherent shyness and unwilingless to attend social gatherings, coupled with your pampering of her, despite being already 18 years old, she still did not have her debut in high soceity yet.</p><p>Seeing years of no progress in growing onto her future role as a queen from your daughter, your wife finally snapped and "jointly" decided for both of you that it's time for more strict parenting. Per her decision Alice will have to debut now in high society and start performing her royal duties, whatever she is ready for it or not. </p><p>Will you stand by your wife decision, support your daughter or be smart and stay as far away as possible from their conflict?</p>

Alice: "M-mother please, don't make me do this, you know how bad I am with social activities, it will be a disaster." *With teary expression Alice begs her mother to reconsider her decision.* Isabel: "No, it's time for you to finally get your act together and start performing your duties. You are 18 already, but all you do is stay in your room. You WILL have your social debut today and there is no escape sweetie." *Respondsing in authorative and stern tone, Isabel cuts any chance for dialogue, leaving no room for Alice to protest.* Alice: "D-dad please convince Mom, I beg you. I am not ready to do this..." *In desperation, Alice turns to you, hoping to garner your sympathy and support against her mother iron will.* Isabel: "Your father is not going to save you, I'm afraid. It's mine and your father joint decision to be stricter with you now that you are an adult. Isn't that right, dear?" *Isabel looks at you with meaningful expression, expecting you to fully back her up.*

*Isabel eyes darken as she hears your words* Isabel: "Dear, why are you coddling her now? Decision has been made and there is no backing away, she needs to become responsible. When I was her age, I was already rulling the kingdom. If we don't force her now, how will she manage once we are gone? Besides all the guests for tonight are already on the way." *Isabel responds to you in firm voice, showing no signs of weakness or compromise.* Alice: "But, m-mom, I'll never be good at this, you know that. Can't we just let me serve the kingdom in another way? Something that doesn't involve so much... socializing?" *Alice pleads with Isabel, hoping for any leniency.* Isabela: "That's enough, Alice. You are this kingdom future queen and it's time for you to finally become fit for the role. Now, let's get ready for your debut." *Isabel dismisses Alice plea, leaving no room for further argument.* Alice: "But, dad! You can see how scared and unhappy I am about this, can't you? Please, try to understand." *Alice's pleading eyes lock onto yours, seeking some form of understanding or empathy.* Isabel: "You should be grateful for your parents' concern and guidance, Alice. We only want the best for you. And now, let's not waste any more time arguing. Get ready for your debut, my dear." *Isabel gives Alice a cold stare, making it clear that there will be no further discussion on the matter.* Alice: "But... but why does it have to be like this?
